Occupancy data from SiteWorx can help you manage cleaning efforts with SiteWorx Area

As a result of unexpected shut-downs, facilities have had to adapt how they perform every-day operations to ensure the success of their business, and the safety of their employees, suppliers, and customers. Those who work as essential, on-site personnel of any manufacturing, logistics, or distribution operation are in need of clean work environments more than ever.

Understanding daily, or even hourly, occupancy patterns in a facility can help janitorial staff identify and manage areas of a facility that need extra attention in order to most effectively allocate resources in an unprecedented time of potential staff shortages, and need for safe, clean work environments.

The simple steps below will help you understand how to access your SiteWorx occupancy Heatmap from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a computer or mobile device with an internet connection.

  1. Once logged into SiteWorx, select SiteWorx Area (included with active SiteWorx Tune subscription).
  2. Select the relevant date range; example above shows one day: March 24, 2020.
  3. Select the relevant hours.
  4. Depending on your occupancy levels, it may be necessary to lower the Max Scale to enhance and expose the occupancy hot spots that deserve more attention. The map above shows 2 spots with higher than average occupancy for the date and time ranges selected.

Note: further reducing the Max Scale exposes less-occupied spaces. Adjusting date, time, and max scale features may be necessary for some facilities.
