Priority of Lighting Control Features
When multiple lighting control features are active at the same time, fixtures follow a set priority to determine which setting takes effect. The order of priority from highest to lowest is:
- Override - This setting has the highest priority, and when it is active, it overrides all other lighting controls. Override is useful when you need to temporarily disable dimming to ensure that a space is consistently lit at a certain light level.
- Keypad - An active Keypad Scene will take the next priority if an Override is not active.
- Setback - When neither Override nor a Keypad Scene are active, fixtures will enter and exit Setback based the configured automatic occupancy based criteria, scheduled time-based criteria or astronomical criteria (for exterior lighting).
- Task Tune Settings - When fixtures are not in Setback, they will operate on their Task Tune Active and Inactive levels.

In the even that a Gateway disconnects, fixtures will retain their most recent settings in the order listed above.
Other Lighting Features
Coordinated Control: This feature is occupancy based control rather than light level control. It does not override other settings, but works in parallel with the features above to provide additional light when trigger nodes detect occupancy.
Daylight Harvesting: Fixtures that have been calibrated and enabled for Daylight Harvesting will adjust light levels based on ambient lighting in the space to increase energy savings. It is disabled when a Keypad Scene or Override is active, but is active with all other lighting control features.
Priority of Features when Offline
If a Gateway disconnects from SiteWorx while a lighting control feature is active, fixtures follow the behavior below:
- Active Override: Fixtures associated to the offline Gateway will remain in the Override setting and cannot be changed until the Gateway reconnects to SiteWorx.
- To ensure that there is sufficient lighting in the event that a Gateway disconnects, it is best practice to apply conservative Override light levels.
- Active Keypad Scene: Fixtures will remain on the active Scene, and settings cannot be changed until the Gateway reconnects to SiteWorx.
- An Override cannot be applied to lights on an active Scene when the associated Gateway is offline.
- Active Setback: Fixtures will operate with an active level of 100%, an inactive level of the configured Setback level and a delay time of 5 minutes.
- Gateways need to be online in order for a group of fixtures to enter and exit Setback. If a Gateway disconnects while a group is in Setback, the safety feature still applies:
- When a light fixture in Setback senses occupancy, that light fixture moves from the Setback Level to the Setback Active Level of 100%, with an occupancy delay of 5 minutes. Once the area is unoccupied, the fixture returns to the Setback Level.
- Task Tune Settings: Fixtures will maintain their Task Tune Active, Inactive and delay settings as normal.
