Status Indicator Behavior of Digital Lumens Fixtures
Overview
The status indicators provide information on the communications and occupancy status of the LED lighting fixture. The indicator behavior varies based on the fixture model.
RLE, CLE and DLA-V
The RLE, CLE and DLA-V will display a blink pattern every two seconds. The status indicators are visible from the floor through the motion sensor of the fixture.
Red Indicator Patterns
Single blink: The light is operating normally, but is not connected to a network.
Double blink: The light is operating normally and is connected to a network.
Triple blink: The light has been reset, is operating normally, and has not yet communicated with SiteWorx
Rapid blink: Wireless communication is in progress.
Blue Indicator
- Single blink (once every two seconds): The motion sensor is active.
- Single blink rapid: The light has exceeded its temperature limit and will shut down.
Normal Indicator Behavior
If the fixture is operating normally and is connected to a network:
- The red LED indicator will display a double blink pattern
- The blue LED indicator will display a single blink (slow) pattern
Alternating Blue and Red Indicator Patterns
- If both LED indicators are slowly alternating single blinks, the light is identifying itself for configuration.
- If both LED indicators are rapidly alternating single blinks, the light is undergoing a wireless reset.
- If the LED indicators are not blinking at all, refer to the Troubleshooting LED Lighting Fixtures guidance.
RLE and CLE-#2
For RLE and CLE2 models, a solid blue indicator indicates a communication issue between the sensor module and fixture.
If a solid blue indicator is encountered, remove the LGT-GEN-01 sensor module by by rotating 1/4 turn counter clockwise, rotating 180 degrees and then reinsert the sensor module by rotating 1/4 turn clockwise until the LGT-GEN-01 sensor module is properly seated.
If the blue indicator is solid blue and the red indicator is not blinking, the sensor module will communicate wirelessly via the serial number on the sensor module and not the serial number on the fixture.
DLE and ILE
The DLE and IL will display a blink pattern every two seconds. The status indicators are visible from the floor through the motion sensor of the fixture.
Yellow Indicator Patterns
- Single blink: The light is operating normally, but is not connected to a network.
- Double blink: The light is operating normally and is connected to a network.
- Triple blink: The light has been reset, is operating normally, and has not yet communicated with SiteWorx
- Rapid blink: Wireless communication is in progress.
Red Indicator
- Single blink (once every two seconds): The motion sensor is active.
- Single blink rapid: The light has exceeded its temperature limit and will shut down.
Normal Indicator Behavior
If the fixture is operating normally and is connected to a network:
- The yellow LED indicator will display a double blink pattern
- The red LED indicator will display a single blink (slow) pattern
Alternating Blue and Red Indicator Patterns
- If both LED indicators are slowly alternating single blinks, the light is identifying itself for configuration.
- If both LED indicators are rapidly alternating single blinks, the light is undergoing a wireless reset.
- If the LED indicators are not blinking at all, refer to the Troubleshooting LED Lighting Fixtures guidance.
