Toolbar

The Toolbar runs along the top of the Commissioner application.

  1. Open Map — Open and edit an existing map file. Commissioner map files use the .MAP file extension
  2. Save Map — Manually save your work
  3. Add Zone — Add one or more zones to the map file. A zone specifies the active power, inactive power, and sensor delay settings for all fixtures assigned to that zone
  4. Add Fixtures — Add one or more lighting sensors/fixtures to the map file
  5. Sync Map — Wirelessly update the nodes in the facility
  6. Verify Map — Wirelessly compare the node settings in use to the settings in the map file. If the settings in use do not match the map file, perform a sync action
  7. Assign Gateway — Add a SiteWorx gateway to the map file. Each gateway is associated with a unique Network (automatically created when a Zone is created, that specifies an unused network)
  8. Select — Select one or more objects on the map grid
  9. Adjust Fixture Spacing — After selecting multiple fixtures, click and drag to adjust the spacing between each fixture. This is especially effective if you've already created a fixture grid
  10. Zoom In — Increase the magnification of the map
  11. Zoom Out — Decrease the magnification of the map
  12. Zoom to Fit — Auto-resize the map so it is fully visible in the map view
Alert
When you change the map file by adding sensors, fixtures, zones, or networks, you must Sync the Map. Otherwise, the map file will be up-to-date, but the settings in use by the fixtures and gateways in the facility will still reflect old settings.
